Changes are in the works at an Old West-themed saloon in Old Sacramento. River City Saloon opened at 916 2nd St. in Sacramento in 2009. The bar and restaurant is located in a historic building and features a 42-foot-long bar from 1905. A sign outside states the business serves "Sacramento's Best Bloody Mary." Along with a full bar, its menu features appetizers and deli-style sandwiches. The business was opened by Sean Derfield, who is also the owner of Sean Finnegan's Pub in the historic district and Der Biergarten in Midtown, according to his LinkedIn profile.
