For the landmark West Sacramento restaurant Club Pheasant, a new future is in the early stages of taking shape. West Sacramento City Council will vote this week on a required interim step for a new use for the property, by declaring the 2.15-acre property at 2525 Jefferson Blvd. as surplus. "Our interest is community driven," said City Manager Aaron Laurel, explaining the surplus declaration is required under state law.
